Detailed Instructions:

Laundry Pickup and drop-off are done at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn.  This is done at the North office building located on Kostner Ave.

Laundry can be picked up or dropped off 24 hours a day as the North office Building (Laundry office) is open all the time.  Laundry should be dropped off as soon as possible after it is packed up at the site by 7am so that it can be returned cleaned ASAP.

To pickup/drop off Laundry look at the picture map below.   You would pull into the parking area near the red text marked phone.  On the wall is a phone box you can use to call someone inside, and the phone number is listed on the number pad.  Tell them you are here  to drop off/pickup laundry for homeless shelter, and they will know what you mean.

Someone will come out from the gated area marked on the map as gate.  The person letting you inside will give you directions as to where to leave the dirty laundry bags, usually right there on the dock.

To pickup clean laundry just ask the person who let you in where to get new bags and where the pads laundry bins are.  They are usually in the back, and you can tell them from rest, as they are sheets of all different colors, as well as the bin should be marked as Shelter.
