and continued COVID-19 Response
Due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), per Bishop Curry of the ELCA, and Governor Pritzker, Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of Burbank will be Temporarily SUSPENDING Sunday Worship Services for both the 8:15 and 10:45 services, Children’s Christian Education, and Bible Study until at least June 1st.
Each week we will post worship information and links on our website (please scroll down for the links to all of these). We will also email families with lessons for Children’s Christian Education students that can be completed at home until mid-May.
Our Food Pantry will continue to be open on Tuesdays from 9 to 11 a.m. and Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m. Volunteers are welcome to assist with food distribution if they would like to help, however, if volunteers are showing any signs of a fever, cough, chills, or flu/cold-like symptoms, or if they have come in contact with anyone showing these symptoms within the past 14 days, volunteers are asked to continue to shelter-in-place instead of assisting with our Food Pantry distribution. Everyone is also required to wear a mask at this point in time and to practice social distancing of at least 6 feet during the entire Food Pantry process.
God bless you and keep you in His care during this difficult time.

Our Savior’s Lutheran Church is comprised of people from a variety of walks of life. We are people of different ages, races and cultural heritages who experience life in many different ways. Some have lived their entire lives in the ministry of a Christian congregation and others have lived a number of years before responding to God by living a Christian lifestyle. What we have in common, with followers of Christ in every age and place, is our belief and trust that God loves us and has saved us from sin, death and the power of evil, through Jesus.

We readily admit that we are not a perfect people, but we want to offer our love, worship, caring, and service to God. As an indication of our response to God, we desire to grow in our relationship with God. As we continue to live in God’s grace we are open to being changed so we may more fully represent the wonders of God’s salvation. We enjoy life and desire to share it with others. We see ourselves as being servants and we commit ourselves to the ministry of this congregation, devoting our time, energy, abilities and monetary resources so others may come to have a vibrant relationship with God. We offer ourselves to help others in our immediate community and around the world. Holy Communion is served at every Worship Service, Children’s Messages are also offered at each Service every Sunday at 8:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. During the school year, Christian education is offered for all ages – 3 years through adults – from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
