Crisis Center for South Suburbia is a non-profit community organization that provides emergency shelter and other essential services for individuals and families victimized by domestic violence and addresses the societal issues that contribute to domestic violence.
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) Malaria Campaign is an opportunity to help eradicate one of the most prevalent, yet preventable diseases in the world. Funds go to purchase and distribute $10 mosquito nets.
Feed My Starving Children is a ministry which packages nutritious meals to be distributed worldwide.
Heifer International works to eradicate poverty and hunger through sustainable, values-based holistic community development.
Hearts in Motion is involved in providing medical care, eyeglasses, physical therapy, dental care, nutritious food, clothing, firefighter training, etc. to Central and South American countries as well as locations in the United States.
Living Waters Lutheran Church in Cherokee, NC is a congregation serving primarily Native Americans. Each year we take a mission trip to offer help with their food pantry and clothes closet which help hundreds of people.
Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) Winthrop Children’s Center provides us with the names of children in need, allowing us to purchase and give them Christmas gifts.
Lutheran Outdoor Ministries Center (LOMC) in Oregon, Illinois is a 640-acre camp providing a wide variety of opportunities in a beautifully wooded and natural prairie setting. We support them in “Connecting the Word of God to the world of God.”
Lutheran World Relief provides disaster relief but continues to offer support with local agencies/ministries long after a disaster. Many congregations make and distribute quilts throughout the world through LWR.
Samaritan’s Purse provides aid to people in physical need. We collect items throughout the year to donate through their Operation Christmas Child Shoebox program.
South Side Pregnancy Center helps offers life-giving and life-sustaining support for those with unplanned/unwanted pregnancies.
World Vision is a ministry through which Our Savior’s supports three children in Asia and Africa.
